We’re proud to have five members of our team representing The Peoples Bank at the Emerging Leaders Conference hosted by the Mississippi Bankers Association in Flowood this week!

The conference was a great opportunity to connect with fellow banking professionals from across Mississippi, build relationships, and learn from industry leaders on topics ranging from leadership to the growing role of AI in banking.

A little friendly competition and fun made the week even better! Jackson, Reed, and Drew took third place in the golf tournament, while April and Macon enjoyed an Introduction to Mahjong class!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to invest in our team, strengthen connections within the banking community, and bring new knowledge and ideas back to The Peoples Bank!

We are proud to have our own Angela Bridges represent The Peoples Bank at the 2026 Compliance Conference!

Angela served on the Bankers Panel, where she joined fellow banking professionals to discuss current compliance hot topics and share perspectives with bank examiners.

The panel was moderated by Memrie Fortenberry with Jones Walker, and provided a great opportunity for meaningful discussion, professional development, and insight into the ever changing world of bank compliance.
