Agent: Just following up on your life insurance request
Customer: It’s the holidays, can we do this after the holidays?
Agent: Absolutely, not sure you will even qualify, but I am booking for March now.
Customer: That’s okay, we will talk whenever you are free.
Agent: So you are telling me that creating more debt for you family is more important than securing their financial future if you were to die.
Customer: That’s not what I said. You know what, I’ll work with someone else,
Agent: That’s okay, I don’t want to waste my time and I don’t want to have to tell your family that you didn’t care enough to have coverage.
Customer: a few minutes later on social media-
Does anyone have tickets to the game tonight? ($125 ea)
Someone selling tamales-
Customer:
let me get 4 dozen ($15 a dozen)
Someone else with a raffle for nothing important
Customer: let me get 10 tickets ($10 ea)
Someone else selling piñon:
Customer: Let me get 2 lbs. ($25 lb)
But yet they don’t see the irony in not being able to afford $91 a month for life insurance.
