Starr-Zapata County Farm Bureau Starr-Zapata County Farm Bureau is an organization open to anyone interested in agriculture. Founded in 1964, the original bylaws were signed by A. V. T. M.

Peterson, Douglas Kuehn, R. Chapa, Heberto Barrera, Eladio Carrera, Martin Garza, J. Martinez, Ray Rochester, and Johnny Shuford. 2020 marks fifty-six years since the founding of this organization which promotes agriculture in Starr County and the State of Texas.
