We always have geckos trying to get in.
As the cooler months arrive, many outdoor critters start to look for warm places to shelter. Taking these preventive steps now can help keep wildlife, such as birds, bats, mice, squirrels, and other unwanted guests, outside where they belong:
• Ensure chimneys have sturdy, animal-proof caps.
• Inspect for and seal any gaps in soffits, vents, foundation areas, doors, windows, and roofline.
• Cut back any branches, ivy, or shrubs that touch or overhang the house’s exterior, as these can act as bridges for animals.
These simple yet effective measures can help protect you from home structural and electrical damage, cleanup costs, and health issues associated with these pests.
