A little sweetness from Fort Worth! 🍯🐝

As part of our Corporate Sustainability & Stewardship initiatives, tenants at our Basswood 35 properties had the opportunity to experience our onsite beehive up close, learn about the important role pollinators play in our environment, and take home a fresh jar of honey harvested straight from the hive.

Creating meaningful tenant experiences while supporting sustainability efforts is something we're proud to be part of.

We're pleased to welcome Max Johnson as the newest member of the EastGroup Properties team! Max joined us last month as an Asset Management Associate in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Max spent the last four years in commercial real estate in the Dallas area—his experience, market knowledge, and industry perspective will be valuable additions to our team.

EastGroup is pleased to announce the acquisition of Harris Ridge Business Center, a five-building industrial park totaling 388,000 square feet in the heart of Austin's Northeast submarket. The property, located in an irreplaceable infill location, expands EastGroup's presence in one of the region's most dynamic industrial corridors.

Strategically located in Northeast Austin, adjacent to Tech Ridge, Samsung Austin Semiconduction, and I-35, Harris Ridge will perfectly complement EastGroup's existing footprint in the market, bringing the Company's total ownership in Austin to approximately 2.3 million square feet.

EastGroup Properties was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of Neon Night, a fundraiser supporting the Mississippi Children's Museum (MCM).

We had a great time connecting with friends across our community and enjoying a fun evening together—but most importantly, we were honored to support the incredible work MCM does every day. The museum plays a meaningful role in the greater Jackson area, providing innovative learning experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning.

In 2025 alone, MCM served more than 21,000 students through field trips, offered 450+ weekly educational program sessions through museum grants, and provided 180 days of afterschool enrichment to JPS students—just to name a few of its many impactful programs. A special thank you to our own Casey Edgecombe, who served as co-chair of the Neon Night committee. Her passion for the community and attention to every detail helped make the evening truly exceptional.
