Our team member Elyssia Poland had so much fun helping out at The Ridgefield Playhouse late last month and again last week for part of their Arts and Education series. Hundreds of elementary school kids were delighted to enjoy the live theatre experience, and they all went home with their very own copy of the book thanks to the generosity of Fairfield County Bank who sponsored the event again this year. The volunteers even got to do the “walk of fame” down the aisle while the whole room applauded for them. 👏

Meet our Models! 2026 Ann's Place Fashion Show:

Nicole Turosky is a Vice President with Fairfield County Financial Services, a division of Fairfield County Bank and Osaic Institutions Financial Advisor. With over 20 years of experience, she is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, specializing in helping women navigate divorce and major life transitions with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

A Danbury native, Nikki has returned to her roots in the most literal way, now calling home the house her grandparents lovingly built. She also proudly served in the Connecticut Army National Guard.

Off the clock, Nikki spends most of her time behind the wheel of a well‑traveled minivan, burning rubber across the tri‑state area as mom to four busy kids. When she does find a few minutes to herself, she enjoys traveling, skiing, and the gym—which, to be clear, really means the sauna. She’s also no stranger to the runway—just a different kind—as a licensed commercial pilot.

Nikki is honored to represent Fairfield County Bank in support of Ann’s Place and is especially proud to walk in honor of her father, a retired Naval aviator whose strength, grace, and unwavering sense of humor continue to inspire her as he courageously faces glioblastoma.

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’d like to share this post spotlighting our team member, Elyssia Poland. Thank you to Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County for providing such great financial education for the generation to come.

Volunteering for JA creates moments that matter, and people like Elyssia make those moments possible.

For nearly 10 years, she has helped create meaningful experience for students that last far beyond the classroom through her time, energy, and commitment.

And like Elyssia, there are hundreds of volunteers who continue to show up, each one making a difference in their own way.
