Yesterday the Reach Legislative Team--Nancy G., Toby G., Cullen A., Dylan S., Amanda G., Andy C. & Robert R.--along with staff and several fabulous parents, went to the Capitol. We testified before the Senate Finance Committee about the importance of Reach in our lives and to plead with them not to cut our medicaid funding, and perhaps even increase it. The group met at 5:45 am at the LAC, finally had our opportunity to testify between 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm. We returned to the LAC at about 12:30 am this morning. It was a long, but very worthwhile day!

Everyone was in excellent spirits all day, and learned a lot. Hopefully we were able to sway our legislators. We did make them laugh!
