We’re happy to announce that Melanie Orchard has joined the SUI family as our new Client Manager!

She will be an integral part of our client-first approach by building existing client relationships and supporting new ones. We are also looking to her for efficient document management, as well as providing guidance to new clients and internal staff on the latest federal and state insurance regulations.

We are proud to announce the promotion of Chase Kirby to Software Engineer III at SUI!

Since joining in December 2019, Chase has contributed to the development and performance of key systems, bringing strong technical insight and consistency to every project. His work has supported system reliability, improved processes, and strengthened how our technology supports the business.

In his new role, Chase will take on more complex projects, contribute to system design and enhancements, and continue developing solutions that improve performance, scalability, and efficiency across our technology landscape.

In an attempt to reduce costs for homeowners, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) recently announced updated property insurance requirements for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

The most significant change is the removal of the strict Replacement Cost Value (RCV) mandate for certain property components, particularly for roofs.
