Community Bank of Missouri is honored to partner with Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in presenting two Member Impact Fund grants, in the amount of $10,000 each, to the GAP Assistance Program of Ray County and the Excelsior Springs Community Foundation in support of their charitable efforts and the positive impact that each organization creates in their communities.
GAP provides essential personal and household items, free of charge, to individuals and families whose needs are not fully met through government assistance programs. GAP promotes health, dignity, and stability, and improves quality of life for an average of 60 families on a monthly basis. We are proud to support GAP’s mission of providing hygiene products, cleaning supplies, dental products, laundry supplies, and other necessities.
The Excelsior Springs Community Foundation’s Meals and a Visit Program (MVP) delivers fresh, locally grown produce and compassionate service, covering costs for those in need. Funds from this grant will expand access to meaningful visits and fresh, local produce beyond the 23 seniors currently served. We are pleased to provide support to the Excelsior Springs Community Foundation in their efforts to nourish bodies, lift spirits, and connect with the community.
