When you work in insurance, you spend all day telling people, “You just never know what could happen.”

Apparently, today the universe said, “Oh yeah? Let’s give you an example.” 😂

We started smelling a VERY strong electrical burning smell in the office, so we did the responsible thing and called the fire department to come check it out.

The culprit?

🔥 Our hot water heater had caught fire. 🔥

Thankfully, everyone is safe, the fire department got everything checked out, and the situation could have been MUCH worse.

And because we apparently needed a real-life insurance lesson today…

GOOD THING WE HAVE INSURANCE. 🙌

You truly never know what your day will bring — even when you work at an insurance agency!

Huge thank you to the firefighters who came out and made sure everything was safe. ❤️🚒

Now… back to selling insurance. With slightly more conviction than we had this morning.
