Today, on Birth Mother’s Day, we pause to honor the incredible women whose love made adoption possible.

To every birth mother thank you. Thank you for your strength, your courage, your sacrifice, and your unconditional love. The decision to place a child for adoption is one made from a place of deep love and hope, and it forever changes lives.

Because of you, families were created. Because of you, children are surrounded by love, opportunity, and support. Because of you, others experienced the joy of becoming parents.

This Saturday is Birth Mother’s Day, and at Family to Family we want to honor the incredible women who have made the loving and selfless choice of adoption. 💜

Birth mothers deserve to be seen, supported, remembered, and celebrated not just on one day, but always.

We are asking our community to help us bless birth mothers in our care by donating:
🎁 Gift cards (gas, grocery, restaurants, Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.)
🧴 Self-care items
💌 Encouraging notes and small gifts

Yesterday, April 29th, we celebrated a very special milestone our founder, Debbie Seiler, turned 70 🎉

Though she may be officially retired, Debbie spent her birthday the best way possible surrounded by her OG Family to Family crew, the very people who were there in the early days when this mission first began.

Debbie started Family to Family with incredible faith, a servant’s heart, and a deep commitment to doing what was right for children and their families no matter how hard it was. Because of her vision, countless lives have been changed, and that impact continues every single day.

And the truth is… retirement hasn’t changed who she is. She’s still just a phone call away, always willing to listen, guide, and support.

So join me maybe a day late and a dollar short but full of gratitude in wishing Debbie a very Happy Birthday and saying thank you for everything she has poured into Family to Family and into all of us 💙

Happy 70th Birthday, Debbie. We love you and are forever grateful.
