10 years ago, this started as Top Flite Financial’s Consumer Direct Division - with a vision, a lot of belief, and a lot of people willing to bet on something bigger.
10 years later, that vision has grown into what is now Haven Home Equity - and Friday night we got to celebrate a milestone that means more than I can probably put into words.
10 years of building.
10 years of fighting.
10 years of learning, failing, adjusting, growing, and getting better.
10 years of watching people step up, lead, sacrifice, and care about this place like it was their own.
10 years of customers trusting us during some of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
10 years of teammates who showed up every day, poured themselves into the mission, and helped build a company we can all be proud of.
To our Haven and Top Flite team - thank you. This company is not a logo, a building, or a brand. It is the people. It is the energy, the effort, the pride, the standards, and the heart you bring every single day. I’m grateful for every person who has been part of this journey.
To Tim, Tracie, Matt, Brenda, Michelle, and so many more of our Top Flite family - thank you. This company had a foundation built on character and loyalty long before we joined. It’s was brought us here and kept us here.
To Monika and my family - thank you for carrying the weight that comes with building something like this. Thank you for the patience, the belief, the sacrifice, and the love through the long days, late nights, stress, wins, losses, and everything in between. You’re my “why” - None of this happens without you.
To our team members not in STL who weren’t able to join us - thank you. Our culture stretches far beyond the walls here in St. Louis.
To our close friends who helped us celebrate this weekend - thank you for being part of this chapter and for making the night feel so special.
And I want to give a massive thank you to my dear friend, business partner, and mentor, Dave.
Dave, you have been such a huge part of this journey. You believed in me, challenged me, guided me, pushed me, and stood beside me through so many important seasons of this business and my life. I’m grateful for your friendship, your leadership, your loyalty, and the impact you’ve had on me personally and professionally. I would not be the leader I am today without you.
10 years is a milestone.
But more than anything, tonight reminded me that the real blessing has been the people.
The people who helped build it.
The people who believed in it.
The people who stayed with it.
And the people who made it all worth it.
