You know, when I started in insurance I knew how important life insurance was….

But I was ALWAYS afraid to ask because it’s uncomfortable to talk about. I was afraid the timing might not be right. I was afraid that I would push people away and lose the opportunity to help them in other ways….

I am not afraid anymore. You know why? Because I have seen too much now. Too many friends die without it. The ones who leave us with it leave behind peace and stability for their family while the others are fighting over what’s left while grieving. It often gets ugly. It’s my moral obligation to talk about it and ask questions. If you feel like it’s not the right time or whatever…I’m sorry that you can’t see that I’m just looking out for you and your family.

I care a great deal about you, friends. Enough to get uncomfortable for moments in order to sleep well at night. If you want to bring this conversation to me, I would happy to talk about it. Otherwise, expect me to get to you….because I don’t want the phone call or your survivors coming in my office crying asking if you had life insurance. It’s literally my biggest fear.

Honored to be able to present a check for $15,000 to the Kennewick Police Department on behalf of State Farm. The grant is for their Target Zero Program. This program educates 9-12 graders on traffic safety such as seatbelt safety, distracted driving, DUI and bystander intervention.
