I'm Jim and I am a State Farm Agent licensed in the state of Washington. I graduated from Washington State University in June 1974 and started my agency in Richland in August 1974. I became an agent due in large part to my father-in-law who was a 35-year State Farm Agent in Yakima, Washington. I am licensed in auto, home, life, health and small business insurance. When I started my agency, my fath

er-in-law explained to me that our business was to offer insurance, but more importantly, to take care of our customers. When you purchase insurance, you pay money and all that you get in return is paperwork showing that you carry insurance. I feel that the most important part of insurance is how you are taken care of after that initial purchase. That is why customer service is the most important thing we can offer our customers. Our job is to answer all of your questions and to be there when you need us. Whether it be to exchange a car, change an address or help you with a claim, we are only as good as the service we provide you. Although my office is located in Richland, I have customers in Kennewick, Pasco, West Richland, Benton City, Burbank, Eltopia, Mattawa, Prosser, Yakima, Seattle and all over Washington State. I believe that insurance is not a "one size fits all" type of product you buy. Every person has their own specific need for insurance and we pride ourselves on being able to determine what the most suitable product is for our customers by working with them to identify their specific needs.
