We took a drive a short way from our house so we could avoid today's traffic and it turned into the most beautiful, easy walk for us and our kids. 7 types of butterflies, wildflowers, racing, and snacks. I couldn't have asked for a better summer day with my family.

Long story long-I was out piddling after the wind stopped this evening, and decided to start on small chunks of work that needs to be done in my yard. It turned into weeding the MASSIVE area where my garden was last year and I found these gems growing all by themselves 🥲 This winter I decided to start a "f #%k it" bag (1 gallon plastic bag) where I would dump any extra seeds I didn't have room for on trays-or the seeds were old and I figured I'd give them a shot at growing.

These beauties are the only ones I've found so far, but I'll treasure them this summer, especially if I don't have anything else growing.

If anyone is interested in bare roots, I have 2 varieties: Yellow Leaf $15 (pictured) or Alba $20 (green foliage with white flowers).
