The love and support from this community has truly blown us away. 💚

In just our first quarter of operation, we’ve seen neighbors step up in ways that are both big and beautifully quiet — donations dropped off, checks mailed in, food sorted, posts shared, time given. Every single act matters.

CAKE KITS FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Starting December 17th 2025, these delicious cake kits can be purchased at Harding's Hardware.

These kits include everything you need to make a yummy cake for any celebration. This is all shelf stable ingredients and we have included a cake pan for you to bake it in!

Purchase a kit for $10 and add a birthday card for $1.

All the proceeds go to furthering the mission here at Feeding Ferry County.

If you would like to purchase a cake kit to support our cause but don't have a need for it, Communities in Schools staff would happily receive your kits to pass out to students that could benefit from them. Rachel Flesher is at Curlew school and Brandi Abdallah is at Republic schools.

How can this be Moses Lake's greatest kept secret?
Schmiggitty West was born in Moses Lake, at the market, to a couple of guys that made perfection in a jar. While they split their partnership and went their separate ways; Schmiggitty is still going strong in Republic Wa, where its still lovingly mixed by one of its original owners and jarred up for transport back to the homeland, and all over the country actually.
