I haven't posted in a while because I have been struggling on the direction of my financial coaching. So, please stay with me and read this all the way through.
Money is a sensitive topic, and I understand that. However, I have a passion to help people get out from under the weight of debt and achieve financial freedom. That is why I paid to go through the Ramsey Solutions Financial Coach Master Training Program to become a financial coach.
There is a stigma and negative emotions concerning reaching out for help, especially when it concerns money. It is very personal and intimate. Plus, many people feel that coaching should be free. They wonder how they can expect to have more financial freedom when they are paying someone for help? I understand this, but you wouldn't ask a fitness coach to volunteer their time to help you get fit.
Just like fitness, it takes time for a good coach to put together a plan to help a client be successful. The client must work the plan and provide feedback so adjustments can be made to make the plan successful. That is why I am not ashamed to require payment for my coaching services. It takes a lot of work.
Can I discount my regular coaching session rate? Yes, if the situation calls for it. This is not my full-time career, so discounting a session is not a make-or-break situation for me. You just have to ask, and I will review your situation and see what can be done.
Please hear my heart as I try not to ramble, because I have too many thoughts swimming through my mind. I want to help people who are struggling financially, don't have a plan, or are drowning in debt. However, I am struggling getting past my inner circle to find clients who understand my time and commitment is worth compensation. It is making it hard to stay motivated and keep moving forward, but I will not give up.

All information discussed in a consultation or coaching session will stay confidential between me as a coach and you as my client. So no one will ever hear about your finances from me, unless you want me to share your success story.
