In September, members of LP Insurance Services’ Las Vegas team participated in United Way of Southern Nevada’s Stuff the Bus campaign and donated more than 30 boxes of school supplies to Robert O. Gibson Middle School.
What made this effort especially meaningful was seeing two LP team members deliver the supplies to the middle school they attended growing up.
Community support is strongest when it is personal. Thank you to everyone who contributed supplies and helped local students begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

The school year is underway, and LP’s Las Vegas team recently helped provide a local classroom with additional supplies for the months ahead.

Our colleagues organized a school supply drive to support a teacher and students Clark County School District’s Lincoln Elementary School, home of the Lions, in North Las Vegas. Members of the team then visited the school to deliver the donations.

At LP, community orientation means being personally invested in the places we call home. We are proud of our Las Vegas colleagues for putting that commitment into action and grateful to the educators at Lincoln Elementary for all they do to help local students learn and grow.

September is full of the events and traditions that bring LP communities together.
This month, the National Championship Air Races return to Roswell, New Mexico, September 16–20. Following last year’s historic move from Reno, the 2026 event will bring all seven racing classes to the New Mexico skies for the first time, along with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
The move also created a special connection between two communities LP Insurance Services calls home. We are especially proud that a member of the LP team played a helpful role in bringing the races to Roswell and creating a new chapter for this longtime Western tradition.
Across LP’s footprint, September also brings the Great Reno Balloon Race, the recently completed Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, the Salem Art Fair & Festival and the Town of Truckee Community Block Party.
Events like these do more than fill a community calendar. They bring neighbors together, support local businesses and showcase the distinct character of the places we live and work.

A marriage, birth, adoption, coverage loss or other major life change may give an employee a limited opportunity to update benefits outside Open Enrollment.
The key is acting quickly. Employees generally need to notify Human Resources within 30 days of a Qualifying Life Event, and documentation may be required.

Luke brings five years of insurance experience, with expertise in commercial property and casualty insurance, alternative risk financing and captive insurance strategy. He works with businesses in construction, real estate and manufacturing to evaluate risk, strengthen coverage strategies and identify solutions that support their operational and financial goals.
Luke began his career as a construction foreman, where he managed field operations, jobsite safety, scheduling and project ex*****on. That firsthand industry experience, combined with his insurance expertise, uniquely equips him to understand the risks and operational challenges his clients face.
