If a link looks suspicious, is unexpected, or asks for your personal information, it's better to delete the message and contact the business directly. It's always better to err on the side of caution than to let your information fall into the wrong hands!

We're all paws on deck to help out Canine Rehabilitation Center & Cat Sanctuary! We're collecting all kinds of treats, supplies, and accessories at all 4 branches all October long.

Donations of salmon dog food, cleaning supplies, blankets, treats, toys and more will directly help cats and dogs who are on their way to finding their ̶f̶o̶r̶FURever homes.

💙 A Great Basin FCU field trip to Sierra Nevada Job Corps!

Today, our Community Relations Director, Gerardina, was joined by North Valleys Branch Manager Audrey and Member Experience Ambassador Hannah for the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Community Relations Council Luncheon — and what an experience!

Audrey and Hannah had the opportunity to learn more about the many career and trade programs available to Job Corps students, hear directly from students about their experiences, and see firsthand the dedication of the staff who work every day to help young adults build skills, confidence, and a path toward independence.

And lunch?! 👏 It was prepared by Sierra Nevada Job Corps Culinary Arts students under the guidance of Chef Michael. This was the students’ first time preparing a meal for a community group of this size, and they did a phenomenal job! Afterward, the Job Corps team even treated us to a campus tour so we could learn more about the different training opportunities available to students.

Great Basin FCU is incredibly proud of our growing partnership with Sierra Nevada Job Corps. Our organizations share a belief in education, empowerment, and giving people the tools and resources they need to succeed — because our community is stronger when we work together.

Thank you to the Sierra Nevada Job Corps students and staff for welcoming our team, feeding us so well, showing us around, and allowing us to experience the amazing work happening on your campus. We look forward to continuing to grow this partnership! 💙

We're big fans of doing good, and potentially even bigger fans of eating good as well. So we're combining the two and hosting a Community Blood Drive and Taco Truck event tomorrow! Vitalant - Nevada will be at our North Valleys Branch beginning at 10:00 and Los 4 Vientos Tacos will be there at 11:00 to fuel you up after you donate.

And, as a perk, we're handing out 100 vouchers for 4 free tacos to say thank you for showing up for your community!

A huge thank you to Washoe County School District Benefits & Wellness for bringing together employees, educators, staff, families, and community partners for a day focused on wellness, connection, and appreciation.

We had such a great time representing Great Basin Federal Credit Union and connecting with so many of you! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, ask questions, learn more about Great Basin, or simply grab some goodies. 💚

Great Basin is proud to support Washoe County School District, its incredible employees, and the students and families they serve.
