During National Small Business Week, our very own Kevin Musico, co-owner of The Musico Agency - Goosehead Insurance, was honored to be invited as one of a select group of Nevada small business leaders to meet with U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen alongside the Reno+Sparks Chamber of Commerce.

The conversation focused on the real challenges small businesses are facing today—rising costs, economic challenges including labor and housing, and the evolving landscape across industries, including insurance. These discussions are critical, and we’re proud to have a seat at the table representing both our clients and our community.

This past weekend, The Musico Agency - Goosehead Insurance agency co-owner, Kevin Musico, had the opportunity to speak with homeowners at the Carson City Emergency Operations Center about the current insurance landscape in Nevada. Coordinated by the Lakeview HOA and its community leaders, the discussion focused on industry trends, carrier appetite, and practical strategies for maintaining homeowner coverage in today’s challenging market. Firewise Community committee member Mike Lafferty and Carson City Fire officials shared additional insights about how to address the growing wildfire risks facing many communities across Nevada.

Kevin was honored to be joined by Nevada Insurance Commissioner Gaines, as together they shared insights with more than 50 community members.
