Thank you! The month of July saw over 20 buyers & couples purchase their dream homes. We did mortgage financing in Port Carbon, Kingston, West York, Pottsville, and everywhere in-between.

Congratulations to ALL our amazing clients.
My best story of the month is when a client called me in the middle of purchasing a home and told me she lost her job. Was so bummed and concerned she would lose her dream home. We told her to pivot and things will work out. She was able to quickly obtain another job and close on her house. When she officially asked us at closing...."Did I just buy a house?" We said "YES". And the tears started rolling down her and her boyfriend's face. That is what our job is all about. Making dreams happen under any circumstances.

6 of them took advantage of PHFA and got exceptionally low rates....1.25% or more below market interest rates. We also obtained over $20,000 in closing cost assistance for clients. That saves them over $100-200 a month! One customer utilized the NEW PHFA K-DATE program and got 8% of the sales price towards their new home purchase.
Yes- it used to always be 5% -- now there are options to obtain 8%!

It takes an ARMY of amazing people to make this happen.

RENOVATION Loan CLOSED! 🔑 🏠 🔨
In my 22+ Years of Helping Schuylkill County make their dream of homeownership a reality...this is even a new one for us. We just closed our 1ST EVER Renovation Loan with our new Renovation Program!

Long Post Warning....This post is WAY overdue! For Many Who Didn't Know.... I was in the hospital at the end of April. Fortunately, everything is ok. This did not slow me down! I want to recognize our accomplishments and give some shoutouts for the Month of May.

We begin with honoring 2025 at Mortgage America, Inc. with Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA). Once again, Mortgage America was the #1 PHFA Lender in Schuylkill County. Hard to believe we assisted 47 buyers/couples in 2025 to their dream of homeownership in Schuylkill County with Low Interest Rates and awesome closing cost assistance programs like K-Fit / K-Flex and NOW THE NEW K-Date. This new program allows borrowers to get up to 8% of the sales price towards closing costs & down payment. I want to say a big THANK YOU to all our referral partners who make this happen every day. As a company, we did 345 PHFA loans in 2025.

Onto our local office in May. What a month it was! We settled 13 homes for clients. The month started out with a 2-unit PHFA loan in Pottsville for Austin. We did an amazing transaction in Mechanisburg for a family moving back to the area from the state of New Mexico! 4 Customers refinanced their homes to save on interest rate & terms. We also closed an FHA loan for Kaley & Michael while both the buyers' agent & I were both in the same hospital!?! Nothing slows us down.
