Join the Parade of Planes – Celebrating 50 Years of Shiloh Airport!

As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration, we’re taking to the skies for something truly special — a Parade of Planes flying over all of Rockingham County!

This exciting aerial parade will follow a 40-nautical-mile route soaring over Stoneville, Mayodan, Madison, Wentworth, Reidsville, and Eden — showcasing the beauty of our communities from above.

We’re calling on pilots from near and far to join the celebration! Whether you fly a classic taildragger, a sleek Bonanza, or a trusty trainer, we’d love to see you in formation. Planes will be grouped by speed — faster aircraft up front, slower ones following — so everyone can enjoy a smooth, scenic flight together. This isn’t a race; it’s a celebration of flight and community!

Don’t worry if you’re not local — detailed maps and flight directions will be provided on the day of the event to make the route easy to follow.

Many items related to plumbing can be used for your spring outdoor projects. A 20' stick of PVC pipe makes a great flagpole. PVC pipe and a few fittings can create a perfect deer feeder, bird house, or an aquatic or hydroponic garden. Heavy Duty PVC Cement can even be used in shoeing a horse.
