Meet the people behind Ask Claire!

This October, our team spent the day at the Golden Future Senior Expo in Long Beach.

We set up our booth, shared Medicare resources, and talked with guests about what to expect at each step, from first enrollment questions to how coverage usually works.

Medicare can feel like a lot. Our job is to make it a little easier, one conversation at a time. You’ve got this, and we’re here to help.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We loved meeting you!

Medicare can feel like alphabet soup — Part A, Part B, Part C, Part D… what does it all actually mean? 😵‍💫

Here’s the simplest way to think about it:

🏥 Part A helps cover hospital care.

🩺 Part B helps cover medical care like doctor visits and outpatient services.

📦 Part C, also called Medicare Advantage, is another way to receive your Medicare benefits through a private plan.

💊 Part D helps cover prescription drugs.

And one important thing to remember: Original Medicare is Part A + Part B.

You can add Part D for prescription drug coverage, or you may choose a Medicare Advantage plan instead.

The right coverage can look different for everyone, so understanding what each “letter” does is a great place to start.
