Edward Jones- Financial Advisor: Melisa Dennis-Leigh Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. My husband and I have two boys, age 9 and 7, a dog, a cat, and chickens.

I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to. I grew up in Redmond, Oregon and graduated from Central Oregon Community College with an associate degree in Business Management. I have worked with customers face to face since 2007, from our local Pappy's Pizza to working at Verizon Wireless. I then found my love for finance in 2015 through my own financial ambition, which led me to Edward Jones in 2017. My boys enjoy staying busy with soccer, so I get to enjoy the benefits of coaching their soccer teams in Redmond, OR during the spring and fall. When we are not busy with soccer, we are enjoying our beautiful Central Oregon views by kayaking, camping, and hiking. I would be honored to help you and your family reach your specific goals for your futures. You may reach me at 541-548-1300 or email [email protected]. Member SIPC.

I enjoyed reading this recent Kiplinger article featuring our Head of Wealth Management and Field Management, David Chubak. One point that stood out to me is how many families are balancing long-term goals with desire to support loved ones today.

It’s something that often comes up in conversations with clients, whether it’s helping adult children with housing expenses, student debt or other financial challenges. As David notes, "The reality is we live in an age of financial uncertainty and anxiety like no other." Having open conversations and a thoughtful plan can help families navigate those decisions with greater confidence.
