Do not be fooled by advisors who have a string of Designation Acronyms after their name. Actually the more DAs the more suspect. Trying to look official and impressive by stating tests you've taken doesn't make you a better professional. I learned at Drexel the bigger title on your business card, the lower your status.

It's not just poor negotiations and taxes but also using CPAs who also double as "business managers" often taking these artists down an investment path they are not licensed to and have no idea how to make their money make money. Not hiring a personal investment adviser who is a fiduciary is penny wise and pound foolish. Poor estate planning, budgeting, otherwise known as living outside your means, trying to keep up with the joneses! Plethora of reasons 90% of actors are always broke and constantly asking for either investments in their next project or just flat out crowdfunding their bad judgment.

If only these creative giants had a decent investment advisor! Not managers.. who are the ones you typically hear about managing them into the ground, advising on weak start up ventures or bad financing. Etc but an RIA who is a fiduciary and can correctly guide through complex financial situations using proven and secure investment tools.

23 years ago today I woke up in my Tribeca loft looking forward to a day off from the trading desk at Nordic Partners so I can have lunch with Jay Plummeri, only to have my world turn upside down. As one of the 1st people to get to the West Side highway after seeing the 2nd plane hit and help the few fire fighters leave the WTC covered in blood and ash, watching people jump from the buildings, talking to my trading partners at , as her phone went dead, running up Hudson in complete horror as the 1st tower fell to our feet and so much more I have not even faced, I can promise you, WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

And since we have made sure they can never attack us through the Air and See, they are doing it slowly through Land. VOTE 🗳 to ensure that America Stays American.

1st job on Wall st. Was at the Beverly Hills trading desk of Drexel as an assistant bond trader to Warren Trepp and still could not be more proud of being a part of that team.

Finally the Truth is coming to some light about what we really did there in the late 80s and the credit that we are all due.

Always watching this completely needless sell off as the US mkt will serve as flight to safety as fears of recession, inflation, wars and sanctions in the rest of the world becomes a reality. EURO = US$ today because you can not put your money there now or China or another established or emerging market on the planet. Fear mongering is a real issues.
