✅ As of this update, all evacuation orders have been lifted and all roads in the affected area are now open.

🏡 Residents may return to their homes.

🚨 EVACUATION ORDER REMAINS IN EFFECT 🚨

‼️ Mandatory Evacuations are still in place for the following areas due to the Kenyon Fire:
🔺 Riviera Drive — from Westside Road to Memory Lane
🔺 Entire length of Kenyon Road

🔥 These areas remain under immediate threat from fire activity. Do not attempt to return until officials declare the area safe.
EXPECTED TIME FRAME FOR EVACUATION IS APPROXIMATELY 5 HOURS (from 3:30pm)

✅ All surrounding evacuation warning areas have been lifted. Residents outside the mandatory zones may safely return, however remain on alert.

Evacuation Order Issued for South Side of Riviera Drive Due to Kenyon Fire

The Redding Police Department is issuing a mandatory evacuation order for residents on the south side of Riviera Drive, between Memory Lane and Oak Glen Drive, due to active fire activity in the area related to the Kenyon Fire.

REASON FOR EVACUATION:
A fast-moving wildfire poses an immediate threat to life in the affected area.

DESCRIPTION:
This is a lawful order to evacuate immediately. The area is now legally closed to public access. All residents are urged to leave without delay and follow designated evacuation routes. Emergency personnel are in the area to assist.

Do not delay evacuation to gather belongings or attempt to protect your property. Doing so puts your life and the lives of first responders at risk.
