Happy National Intern Day to our summer intern, Tyler Beeson! 🎉

Tyler is a student at Northwest Missouri State University and spends his Wednesdays and Fridays helping us around the office.

Tyler has been a huge help this summer. He always brings a positive attitude, keeps everyone in the office laughing, and has been a great addition to our team.

Many of you may recognize Alyssa from her time at UScellular, where she managed the Red Oak and Atlantic offices. She brings several years of customer service experience and is excited to begin this new chapter with our team.

Alyssa is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent and is ready to help individuals, families, and businesses with their insurance needs. She is also currently working toward obtaining her Life insurance license, allowing her to assist clients with an even broader range of coverage.

To help ensure our staff can get home safely before the next round of storms moves in, Davis Taylor Insurance will be closing today at 4:00 PM.

What a wild 24 hours... and with the possibility of more severe weather tonight, Sunday and Monday. ⛈

We know many families may be dealing with damage, uncertainty, and a lot of questions.

We want you to know—we’re here for you.

📍 We will have limited office hours on Sunday to help answer the most urgent questions and assist where we can, with full regular office hours resuming Monday.

Until then, here are a few important steps you can take:

✅ Stay safe first. Be cautious of additional storms, broken glass, debris, and downed lines.
✅ Prevent further damage if it’s safe. Temporary roof tarping or protecting vehicles can help minimize losses.
✅⚡ If you have electrical line damage, please call an electrician as soon as possible to assess the damage.
✅ 📷Document damage now. Take photos/videos of your roof, siding, windows, vehicles, and other affected property.
✅ Save receipts for emergency temporary repairs.

🌟 Meet ROCIA Board President, Ryan Beeson! 🌟
Ryan brings 23 years of experience with Davis-Taylor Insurance and a lifelong commitment to Red Oak. As a 6th generation Grant Township farmer, his roots here run deep, his family has farmed the area since 1865.
Red Oak is more than home for Ryan; it’s the place he’s proud to raise his family. From the Wilson to the indoor Carder Tennis Courts, he loves the small‑town feel paired with big city opportunities for his kids.
Beyond the Chamber, Ryan has served as a past Montgomery County Fairboard president, 4‑H leader, youth sports coach, and currently serves on the ROCC youth golf committee. Giving back is at the heart of everything he does.
