Congratulations to Kiersten Wegener on graduating from Red Bud High School! 🎓

Kiersten joined our staff this year through the Red Bud Coop Program and quickly became a valuable asset to our team. Her hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to learn made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for everything she brought to our office.

We’re excited to have Kiersten continue working with us through the summer before she begins the next chapter of her education at SWICC. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for her!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our Spring Economic Update & Social Night! 📊🥂

We had a great turnout and truly enjoyed spending the evening with all of you—connecting, sharing insights, and simply having a fun night out together.

A special thank you to those who brought non-perishable food donations for the Chester Food Pantry. Your generosity makes a real difference in our community.

We were also grateful to be joined by former Thrivent financial advisor Randy Campbell, who volunteers with the food pantry and will be helping deliver all of the donations. It’s always great to see people continuing to give back in such meaningful ways.

“Aid layering” is a spending strategy that can help you understand which funding sources to prioritize as you pay for college. This strategy suggests spending awards first and reaching for loans last—because a dollar borrowed is a dollar (+interest) that needs to be repaid. Here’s a snapshot of the spending order:
