Giving Back This Spring 💗💸

One of the greatest blessings of owning a business in this community is having the opportunity to support organizations and causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This spring was filled with opportunities to give back, connect, and support some truly incredible missions throughout our community.

• I was grateful to sponsor the Red & Black Event for the Schuylkill Valley Education Foundation, where I also proudly serve as Foundation President. Supporting educational opportunities for students, teachers, and innovation within our schools where my boys attend continues to be incredibly important to me.

• In conjunction with Events by Kelly's Florist, I had the opportunity to provide centerpieces for the Berks County Heroes Breakfast, helping support the American Red Cross and its lifesaving programs and services throughout the Pennsylvania Rivers region. Their work ensures individuals and families have support during some of life’s most difficult moments.

• I was honored to support my friends from the Vision Resource Center of Berks County by sponsoring the putting green contest at the annual golf outing . Their organization provides incredible resources and services to individuals living with vision loss in our community.

• I was also happy to support the annual golf tournament for West Lawn United Methodist Church, helping support the important work they do within our local community.

• I had the great honor of attending this year’s Lighthouse Welcome Home Dinner with close friends, celebrating the meaningful impact this organization has on helping individuals and families find stability, hope, and a place to call home.

• I wrapped up my spring fundraising season by supporting Smooches 4 Pooches, where I had the fun honor of walking a mini Bernedoodle in the fashion show while also showcasing beautiful items from Be Mine Boutique. This event raised money for local dog rescues in need of their FUR-ever home!!!

I am grateful to give back to  the community that has supported my financial planning practice since the age of 22!

April reminded investors why staying the course matters!!!

After a volatile start to the year, markets came roaring back:

• The S&P 500 gained 10.4% in April
• The Nasdaq Composite surged 15.3% — its strongest monthly performance since 2020
• The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 7.1%, marking its best month since late 2024

Strong earnings, improving sentiment, and easing geopolitical concerns helped push markets higher.

Even with headlines creating short term uncertainty, all three major indexes are now trading well above where they began 2026.

The reminder? Markets often recover before confidence does. Staying invested through uncertainty is often where long term opportunity lives.
