Here are some of the latest scams to watch out for. Anyone who calls you or contacts you online about your stimulus check is likely a scammer. Also, if you get an official looking check in the mail for something like $3,000 instead of $1,200, expect a call. They will tell you its an overpayment and ask you for the difference in gift cards or money transfers. Anyone who contacts you and eventually asks for gift cards or money is trying to scam you.
