Today marks a significant milestone for me—20 years at BHFCU, one just a few years ago I wasn’t sure I’d see. Reflecting on my journey, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunities I’ve been given.
I had the privilege of meeting and serving our first CEO, and I’ve since worked alongside our second and now our third. Each leadership transition has brought fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, contributing to our credit union’s growth and evolution.
I started my career as a teller, and thanks to the support of my colleagues and mentors, I quickly transitioned into lending, focusing on auto, credit card, personal loans, and home equity loans. For the past 13 years, I’ve been dedicated to our first mortgage division, helping members achieve their homeownership dreams.
I am truly thankful for those who recognized my potential and encouraged me to take the next steps in my career. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without your guidance and support as well as the trust and partnerships I’ve built over the years with clients, realtors, builders, and affiliates.
As I look to the future, I’m excited about what lies ahead and the continued growth we can achieve together. Here’s to many more years of serving our members and contributing to the success of our credit union!
