Did you know the Katy Trail exists thanks to a generous gift from Ted and Pat Jones? In 1990, their $2.2 million donation helped preserve 240 miles along the Missouri River—and 36 years later, we’re still celebrating that legacy.
I’d love for you to join me on April 25 from 9:30–11:30 a.m. as we mark the 36th anniversary of the trail’s opening with trail preservation, live music and a few Edward Jones goodies. If you’d like to volunteer, reach out to me to register at the Treloar or Dutzow trailheads.
Additionally, at six locations across the Katy Trail, we're hosting Tunes on the Trail, made possible with Missouri State Parks and Magnificent Missouri. Local bands and musicians will be performing. All are invited—drop by any time, no program or frills. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4cus5uz.
Hope to see you on the trail!
