I have been in the mortgage industry ever since I graduated from Chapman University 20 years ago. I never intended to stay in this industry being that my major was History and minor in English. I've worked in many facets of the industry such as processing, underwriting, compliance, loan officer and operations manger. I also have my real estate license but I knew my niche has always been helping buyers qualify to buy a home. As a loan officer, I like the challenge of trying to figure out how to make the loan work and what program fits the best. Most of my clients are buying for their first home so the process can be scary.
