New to Medicare? For most who are turning 65, the initial enrollment period is 3 months prior and 3 months post their birthday month. There is also an opportunity to switch plans every year, effective for January 1st of the following year, during AEP which begins October 15th and ends December 7th. I'm licensed in MN, WI, and ND with several insurance carriers.
