News Release:

The CSLB announced that Workers’ Compensation Insurance for Certain Licensed Contractors will be required by 2023.

Starting January 1, 2023, Concrete (C-8), HVAC (C-20), Asbestos Abatement (C-22), and Tree Service (D-49) contractors will be required to have workers’ compensation insurance, regardless of whether they have employees.

All licensed contractors, regardless of whether they have employees, will need insurance by 2026.

California Contractors Bond Amount Increases in 2016:
Due to the legislative enactment of Senate Bill No. 467, California Contractor's License and Qualifying Individual Bond Amounts will automatically increase from $12,500 to $15,000 effective 1/1/2016. Feel free to contact us if you need further any information.
