🏠 Mortgage Rate Update: Last Week's Insights 📉

Last week was a good one for mortgage rates! The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged on Wednesday, and Friday’s employment report came in much weaker than expected — with the prior two months revised downward. These developments helped push rates lower.

Market expectations shifted quickly: CME FedWatch now shows an 85.5% chance of a Fed rate cut in September, up from just 37.7% the week before.

I’ll keep you posted as we move closer to the Fed’s September meeting.
