Twenty-five years ago today, our nation lost 2,977 people—including 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics who ran toward danger to save others.

Today, we remember every life lost, honor the heroes who gave everything, and stand with the families who carry this loss every day. We will never forget their bravery, their sacrifice, and the way our country came together.
