Come hang this Saturday at for the 2022 Summer Bazaar market and music fest. I’ll be posted up all day with so come by, say what’s up and buy me a beer.

There are a ton of cool vendors (see above) and the market is free and open to the public to come check out 12-7. The music will start around 7:30 and you do need tickets for this- only $10.

These events are so cool so I would definitely recommend coming and checking it out! Hope to see yall out there!

In a rising interest rate environment coupled with a real estate market where new construction is a large portion of the inventory, extended rate locks are a very smart option.

In case you’ve been under a rock…mortgage rates are going UP👆🏻⬆️📈

Rates are going up, yes, of course nobody likes that, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. When you’re looking at/thinking about rates, it’s always important to consider where they WERE. Where rates ARE is always relative to where they WERE, and where they were are some of the lowest levels we have EVER seen.

The fact is that for quite some time we have been preeetty spoiled when it comes to interest rates. So when you hear that rates are going up, don’t panic like everyone else, take a second and think about where they are going up FROM.

🚨🚨🚨 LASTLY…and I cannot stress this enough…if you’re shopping for a mortgage right now (for all my realtors, if you have clients that are shopping for a mortgage) KEEP IN MIND that the rate you are quoted one day could very well be completely different the next day, ESPECIALLY in a volatile and rising interest rate environment like we’re experiencing now. Double check, ask questions, but most importantly make sure you’re working with someone (like me 🙋🏼‍♂️) who has their eye on rates day to day so that you and your clients are protected.

Almost exactly a year ago, my boy bought his first home, and I had the pleasure of handling his mortgage. Here we are one year later wrapping up his refinance. With over a full point lower in rate, and about a $30k increase in the value of his home, James is going to save over $200 in his monthly payment! 😳
