Some good news for rate watchers! The Fed will almost certainly lower short term rates at their next meeting in September; and while short term rates do not directly affect mortgage rates, a reduction means that inflation is trending sufficiently downward and mortgage rates will almost certainly follow. To prime the pump, Fairway is offering a sweetener! For the next 90 days, Fairway will provide all applicants with a lender-paid half-point rate reduction for the first year of your loan. Get ‘em while they’re hot!

We don't do our jobs for accolades. I have A job because I need food. And concert tickets. I chose THIS job because I love helping people buy a house, especially if it's their first house.
