Hunter and I had the honor of witnessing Matthew and Baleigh Morgan’s wedding this weekend and it was such a beautiful day. ❤️

One of our seasoned clients told Matthew when he got engaged that he was officially joining the “lucky pup club” and honestly, I could not agree more. 🐶

So many of our clients would say that Baleigh got a great one. Matthew serves our clients with so much patience, kindness, and integrity every single day. But after watching them together this weekend, it’s also so obvious that Matthew found an incredible partner in Baleigh too.

A quick note for our clients: Matthew will be out of the office next week for his honeymoon and our office will also be closed for Memorial Day. We will have a temporary administrator in our branch helping in the office for urgent matters, but I know many of you truly enjoy working with Matthew and will miss him while he’s away.

Today is National Firefighters Day ❤️🚒

And while I’m incredibly grateful for every man and woman who serves, today feels a little more personal.

My husband, Hunter, is a lieutenant with Garner Fire Rescue and has dedicated the last 14 years to serving our community in the fire service. This photo is just a glimpse into what that really looks like - running toward what everyone else is running from.

Being a fire family isn’t always easy. The long shifts, the missed holidays, birthdays, the unpredictability… it comes with sacrifices most people never see. But it also comes with a deep sense of purpose, pride, and perspective of how life is such a gift.

Hunter has the kind of servant’s heart that you can’t teach - and our girls get to grow up watching what it means to show up for others, no matter the cost.

We are so thankful for him. And today, we honor all firefighters who put their lives on the line every single day to protect ours.
