💵 Financial literacy doesn’t start at 18. It starts at 4.

Research shows money habits are formed by age 7.

That means by the time your child is in 2nd grade, their relationship with money is already being shaped.

At 4-5 years old, you can teach:
1. Money is earned through work
2. The difference between WANTS and NEEDS
3. To PAY YOURSELF FIRST — save before you spend

Message for parents : You can’t leave an inheritance if you don’t teach stewardship❗️

We teach our kids how to make money grow, not just how to spend it. But parents if YOU don’t teach them money, TikTok will. And TikTok is teaching them to SPEND.

🥹As your auntie, I miss you in ways words can’t hold. I miss what should have been — your sweet 16 dress, your laugh, your teenage attitude, your dreams. But today we walked so your name keeps living, and your story keeps saving❗️

TODAY WE WALKED FOR QUEEN CANDIS. 👑

Today was the Queen Candis Sickle Cell Act of VA Walk, in remembrance of my niece💖

As her aunt, the ache never leaves. But neither does my fight💪🏾

For those who don’t know — Sickle Cell Disease is a painful, lifelong battle that too many of our babies face, and too many families don’t talk about until it’s too late. My niece was a warrior through it all, and she deserved more time.

That’s why we walk. That’s why we advocate. That’s why we will keep saying her name — QUEEN CANDIS.

Thank you to everyone who showed up today in Virginia and walked with us, supported our family in person and in spirit. Every step is for awareness, for research, for a cure, and for all our warriors still fighting. 💪🏾🫶🏽So proud of my sister & brother in law for continuing to raise awareness and doing it while staying strong 🙏🏽
