June is Men's Health Month, and there is no better time to encourage you or the men in your life to take advantage of preventive screenings included with their health care coverage. Preventive screenings are among the most powerful tools for early detection of serious illnesses, and catching something early can make all the difference.

Here are some key screenings and wellness checks worth knowing about and at what age they start:

✅ Cholesterol checks - These key preventive screenings should start at 17 to monitor heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. They’re recommended every four to six years.
✅ Diabetes screening - Diabetes screenings are recommended to begin at age 35 and every three years after, or earlier if risk factors are present, such as family history or being overweight.
✅ Prostate cancer screening - Men should start receiving regular prostate cancer screenings with their doctor, typically starting around age 50, or earlier for those with higher risk factors.
✅ Colorectal cancer screening - For men, a colonoscopy is recommended starting at age 45 for those with average risk and should be repeated every 10 years. The frequency of screening may increase based on your doctor’s assessment of your risk level.
✅ General mental health screening - These screenings are often conducted at annual checkups, at any age. They are a good time to speak openly with your provider about anxiety, depression, or any changes in your mood.

Every man's health journey looks different, so it’s best to talk with your doctor about which screenings are right for your age, history, and lifestyle.

Summer is one of the busiest travel seasons of the year. It’s also one of the most unpredictable.

Over the past year, flight cancellations and long delays have become far more common. That’s where travel insurance comes in.

Travel insurance can help protect your trip when the unexpected happens. There are a number of issues that can derail travel plans, but coverage may help by:

🔹Reimbursing non-refundable expenses if a trip is canceled.
🔹Covering costs tied to flight delays like hotel stays, meals, and transportation.
🔹Helping to offset the cost of purchasing essentials if your baggage is lost or delayed.
🔹Providing coverage for medical emergencies while traveling.
🔹Offering emergency evacuation coverage, in certain cases.

No one wants their travel plans disrupted, so having coverage in place can make those situations easier to manage if they arise. And in the meantime, the right travel insurance lets you focus on enjoying your trip rather than worrying about delays and unexpected extra costs.

May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month, and it is a good time to take a closer look at a type of coverage that does not always get the attention it deserves.

According to 2025 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, people with a disability account for about 13% of the U.S. population, and the gap between employment rates for those with and without a disability remains significant.

Disability can affect anyone at any stage of life, and the financial impact can be just as significant as the physical one. Swipe through for a breakdown of what disability insurance covers and what to look for in a policy.

One such rider is the Return of Premium (ROP) rider. Swipe for an overview of what it does, why it matters, how it works, and who it may be best for.

With business travel picking up during the summer months, we want to share an overview of coverage that’s quickly becoming crucial for businesses — business travel insurance.

Over the past year, flight cancellations and long delays have continued to disrupt work-related trips, even when plans are confirmed in advance. Business travel insurance can help reduce the impact of these disruptions.

Here are a few ways coverage can help protect your organization and traveling employees:

🟢 Reimbursing canceled or interrupted trips when non-refundable flights, hotels, or event costs are lost.
🟢 Covering expenses tied to travel delays, such as additional lodging, meals, or rebooking fees.
🟢 Helping to reduce the financial burden of delayed or lost baggage.
🟢 Supporting employees during medical emergencies while traveling for work.
🟢 Assisting with emergency evacuation when necessary.

For organizations that rely on travel, these protections help control unexpected expenses while still supporting employees.

If your team travels for work and you want to review business travel insurance options, we are here to help. Give us a call today!
