Supporting local families in business provides hope for others!

As of February 15th of 2018, First Data Nash-North, Buypass, and Cardnet will require CRE Version 12.8033 in order to process credit cards.
First Data: pcAmerica has been collaborating with First Data on the First Data Nashville interface for the past year. The development work is complete, and pcAmerica is currently awaiting the certification from First Data, and the completion of its PCI Compliance audit for this interface. This is expected to be released by the end of the year (2017). The North and BuyPass interfaces will likely not be migrated, so businesses should contact their pcAmerica dealer or First Data to ensure they can use the Nashville platform. This will work for retail stores.
Updated First Data in-scope integration to support TLS v1.2 requirement. February 15th, 2018 is the production deadline to support TLS v1.2. Please inform all the First Data in-scope users to install this patch as soon as possible.
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol used to establish a secure communications channel between two systems. It is used to authenticate one or both systems, and protect the confidentiality and integrity of information that passes between systems.

Urgent Message To pc America Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express Point of Sale Users

The deadline to upgrade pcAmerica software to Transport Layer Security v1.2 has past. This means in order to meet Federal Government mandated PCI compliance requirements to integrate credit card payment through pcAmerica's point of sales systems, software versions must be version 12.8033 or higher.

Despite being informed in more than ample time, many of First Data's resellers (ISO's) and dealers failed to inform their customers of the new security requirements. Nor, did several act.

As a result, First Data has no choice but to deactivate card readers where necessary and has started the process of doing so.

Heartland purchased pcAmerica a couple years ago. We have no control over the actions of our competitor or their ISO's and dealers.

Several thousands of pcAmerica's 90,000 system users either have already or will experience payment system deactivation.

I have an expert team assembled both within Heartland and locally to address this crisis in an expedient manner.

The choice of card payment processor is and always will be that of the merchant. Heatlanders, like myself, must earn business based on the merits of the products and services we provide, and the value we're able to provide.

If you wish to avoid pending payment system deactivation, my team can assist.

If you've already experienced deactivation and wish to re-establish payment system integration, my team can assist.

If you're satisfied with having credit card terminals, in place of an integrated payment system, I can assist with high speed, easy to use terminals capable of processing transactions in 3 seconds.
