Our Quincy, IL branch recently presented their matching fund check to the West Central IL Area Agency on Aging Board Members. Holding the check is Branch President Becky Warning (left) and Sherry Sparks (right).

A few branch members took part in a Bowling Tournament to raise money for a new elevator at the Quincy Senior Center. They are still raising funds and you can donate to the cause at https://givebutter.com/ysYgcA

This past weekend was the Silver Strikes Bowling Classic, to support the Quincy Senior Center Elevator Fund. Our Quincy Branch put a team together to support the cause, and provided a matching fund! Mayor (and WCU Board Member) Linda Moore started off the tournament by throwing the first ball. Thank you to all who supported this event!

Every year, our Clover Bottom, MO branch holds a BBQ and car cruise event to support Alzheimers. This year, they raised over $8,500 and presented their donation at the local walk this past weekend in Washington, MO. The pictures show the event organizers and everyone from their group that participated in the walk. Way to go team!

Our St. Louis branch recently made a donation to Feed My People in South County St. Louis, that provides a food pantry and thrift store to locals in need.

The St. Louis branch is a frequent supporter of this fantastic organization, which strives to feed the hungry. Great job!

Our Metro East (St. Louis area) branch co-sponsored several breakfast fundraisers with the Edwardsville Lodge this summer to support several organizations in their area. Branch secretary Dave Hutt is shown in the photos presenting a check to the Madison County Historical Society and the Metro East Humane Society. We love seeing our branches working hard to support their community!

Our Northeast Iowa branch has been busy staying involved in their community. Over the summer, they supported the Arlington Event Center by helping out with their side by side ride in August. The event had 160 units and over 400 people riding, which raised $15,000 for the event center. Pictured is WCU Agent and Branch Officer, Dean Meisner presenting the check.

They also provided a donation to the Quilt of Valor organizations in Nashua and Otter Creek. In July, the organization presented 15 quilts to local veterans. Their donation will help with continuing this wonderful program. The quilts are meant to give the veterans comfort and to be a continual reminder that their service is appreciated. Great job to all!

The votes are in and our "new" Board of Trustees began their term on Friday. For the 5 open seats, all 4 incumbents kept their spot on the Board, and we are welcoming back a past Board member. Congratulations to August Boessen, Blake Doane, Dave Hutt, John Prangl and Corinn Hake. They will all serve a 4-year term and the next election will be in 2028 for the other 5 seats. Thank you to all voted. We encourage all members to vote and we would love to see voting participation continue to increase with each election.

A raffle was held by our Quincy Branch, with the proceeds to support the restoration of St. Boniface Church to establish The Shrine for Father Augustine Tolton. Today they presented their $3,000 donation to the project.

Our Quincy Branch recently held a raffle to support the Father Tolton Shrine being built. The winners have been chosen! The winner of the $2,000 grand prize is Katyann Lucey. The five $100 consolation prizes were won by Janice Wiemelt (2), Bruce Alford, Marge Klingele and Linda Miles. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who supported this fantastic fundraiser!
