Filed a tax extension in Washington? Your final deadline is October 15!

If you requested a federal tax extension earlier this year, that extra time is almost up — and unlike regular taxpayers, you don’t get until next April. October 15 is your hard cutoff to submit your return.

✅ Good news for Washington residents: Since we don’t have state income tax, this deadline only applies to your federal return.

⚠️ Important reminder: Filing an extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay. If you owe taxes and didn’t pay an estimate back in April, you may owe penalty or interest — so the sooner you file, the better.

Hi, I’m Alyssa — born and raised just outside of Seattle, and still happily rooted here in the beautiful PNW with my husband and our son (soon to be two boys this August!).

I went to both Washington State University and the University of Washington (yes, both!) and graduated from UW with a Business degree in Marketing. I got my start in the mortgage industry in 2014 as a Processing Assistant immediately after graduation, then moved into a Production Assistant role soon after, and launched my own team in 2022.

One thing I’ve learned over the years: people remember most how you make them feel. That’s a value I carry with me in both life and business, making sure my clients can feel how much I care about them and their future.
