Giles County Insurance, formerly Professional Benefit Solutions, has announced that owner and Senior Partner, Elaine Hickman, is retiring on Aug. 31, 2026, after 27 years of service to individuals, families, businesses, governmental entities and organizations throughout Giles County and the surrounding area.
Hickman has spent much of her professional life helping clients understand insurance options, including supplemental insurance, Medicare-related coverage, cancer insurance, vision and dental coverage and other policies designed to help people prepare for unexpected medical and financial needs.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust my clients, employers, organizations and community partners have placed in me over the years,” said Hickman.
In addition to her work in the insurance business, Elaine has been active in the business and philanthropic community. Hickman served as President of Main Street and as a Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce. She has been active with the Imagination Library, serving as Chair of the Giles County Books from Birth Foundation.
A Member of the Pulaski Rotary Club since 1997, Hickman served as its first female President.
Hickman’s business partner, Sue Braly, will continue as the founding partner of Giles County Insurance.
Everyone is invited to help Elaine celebrate her retirement at a reception in her honor on Thursday, August 27, from 3-5 p.m. at 112 S. 2nd St, Pulaski.
“It will be very different for me not to have Elaine in the office, but I look forward to working with all of our clients with the same care and attention they have come to expect from us,” Braly said.
The Giles County Insurance office will move locations on September 1. Braly said she is ready to assist all current clients and looks forward to helping new clients find the insurance coverage that they need.
