Our credit union was established in 1936 when a few postal workers got together and decided to help ea
ch other create their own credit union. Their intent was to create a safe place to save and borrow at reasonable rates so, they pooled their funds together in order to make loans to one another. Over the years, our credit union has evolved and opened up membership to other various groups of people who want to join into a financial institution that treats them like family and where members have a say in how their credit union is run. Now, we have certainly expanded to more than just saving and borrowing. Other services available to members are free checking accounts, debit and credit cards, certificates of deposit, loans, IRA accounts, money market accounts, online banking, online bill pay, touch-tone teller and much more!
