Freedom Credit Union was established in 1956 to provide financial services to employees of Provo School District. In 1997, our field of membership expanded to include not just educators, but anyone who lives or attends public or higher education in Utah County. Our motto is "Serving Educators - Serving Everyone" recognizing the critical role educators play in serving society, and the opportunity Freedom Credit Union has to follow this example of serving everyone.

🚨 Fraud Alert 🚨

We want to make our members aware of an active scam targeting Freedom Credit Union members.

We've received reports of fraudulent text messages claiming to be from our fraud department, often asking if you authorized a large purchase at retailers like Best Buy. These messages are not legitimate.

Legitimate fraud alerts from Freedom Credit Union are sent through a short-code SMS system (such as 48704) and include the callback number 844-675-0233.

We will never ask you to provide your full Social Security number, download software, transfer money, send money elsewhere, or share online banking credentials.

If you receive a suspicious message, do not click links or attachments. Contact us directly at 801-375-2120.

Protecting our members is our top priority. If you believe you may have shared information with a scammer, please contact us immediately so we can help protect your accounts.
