Credit Tip💡💡💡 Do not pay a collections bill without negotiating and requesting they delete the item from your credit report once you pay the agreed upon amount. Most people are quick to pay a collections account to resolve and close the outstanding account. Paying a deliquent account is ALWAYS the right thing to do BUT you want to get something out of this deal too right?!😊 Of course you do ! Make sure to request the creditor delete the negative item from your credit report once payment has been issued and get this agreement in writing. 💡This is called a PAY FOR DELETION letter. This can raise your score tremendously 😊

This happened to me when I paid off collections and the creditor did not send the credit bureaus a letter to delete them off my credit profile , so I had to dispute them myself and use the credit laws to have them removed .
