Today I had the incredible honor of attending the St. Jude Dream Home Ceremony! This stunning home, located in the beautiful Viniterra community, is part of a powerful mission to support the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

It was truly inspiring to stand alongside representatives from St. Jude, Closet Factory, StyleCraft Homes, NBC 12 News, and many other amazing partners who are making a difference. One of the most special moments was signing the floor of the Dream Home—leaving behind not just a name, but hope for the children this cause supports.

This is truly heartbreaking, and it’s difficult to find the right words. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his wife and children, during this difficult time. Today, the insurance community feels a deep loss, as we mourn the passing of the UHC CEO. It’s a reminder of how fragile life is, and how important it is to support one another through both personal and professional challenges. May his legacy and contributions continue to inspire us all.

We are deeply saddened by this morning’s events involving UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City. Brian was a highly respected leader in our industry. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian’s family and all our colleagues at UnitedHealthcare during this difficult time.

In observance of Thanksgiving, our office will be closed from Monday, November 25, through Friday, November 29, to spend cherished time with our families and loved ones. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 2.

Thank you to the New Kent Educational Foundation for hosting an amazing event today and a big thank you to the New Kent Chamber of Commerce for allowing me to join their team! It was a great day of bowling with all 56 lanes full of individuals supporting a great cause. (I even got to pull out my old bowling shoes!)

Fun fact: I use to bowl in middle school 😉
